Naviera Transoceánica (Navitranso) announced new CEO. Navitranso is a globally recognised carrier of liquid cargo operating mainly along the Peruvian coast as well as on the west coast of South America. Navitranso offers maritime transportation service for crude oil, products and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
After 12 years in the position of CEO, Alvaro Valdez had decided to step down, leaving the position as CEO of Navitranso to Diego Florez, who has extensive shipping knowledge and has been in the company for almost 23 years. With his experience and deep understanding of the industry, Diego is the ideal candidate to lead Navitranso into the future.
Alvaro will join the Board of Directors of Navitranso and take on a part-time position as Executive Director of Petrolera Transoceánica (Petranso).
